All products are licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Updates and Support are only available to customers with an active subscription. The number of websites which receive automatic updates and support is limited by the subscription type and specified on the Pricing page.
2. Support Policy
ruhe.potential provides technical support for its products. The support is only available to customers with an active subscription and limited to the number of websites your subscription type covers. Support is exclusively provided through the support system. No support is provided for free and 3rd party products or ruhe.potential products obtained through unauthorized 3rd parties.
ruhe.potential products are provided as is, with no implied meaning that they will function exactly as you wish, nor do we guarantee that our products will be compatible with third party software unless it is explicitly part of the subscription.
Commitment to respectful communication
The communication on this platform is characterized by mutual respect and constructive criticism. By using our support you agree with the following terms:
- Stay factual: Constructive criticism is always appreciated. Insults or hate speech won't be tolerated.
- No generalizations: Refer to the observations and experiences YOU have made.
- No vilification: Derogatory comments about gender, age, disabilities, ethnicity or religion won't be tolerated.
- Stay patient: High quality support takes its time. Please be patient until we respond. We will answer every single question.
Repeated violations against these guidelines may result in account termination without refund and without any further warning. Moreover, we reserve the right to block you from purchasing a new subscription or creating an new account.
3. Fair Use Policy
ruhe.potential strives to provide high quality support for software obtained through our subscriptions. To be cost-effective without decreasing our level of support we have set up this fair use policy. Support is only provided for the number of sites - site means domain with single system - agreed within the chosen subscripton. Once this limit is reached further support is only provided for one more site until the end of the subscription. By doing so we prevent any kind of abuse, like a hosting provider purchasing a subscription with support for 3 sites, installing the software on all of his clients' sites and then requesting support for another 3 sites every month. If we encounter such a behaviour we will issue a warning and refuse to answer new questions that are related to any new domains. Repeated attempts to exceed this limit may result in account termination.
4. Refund Policy
ruhe.potential does not offer any refunds. Once you have purchased a subscription, this is final. Before you purchase a subscription, we encourage you to subscribe to our free plan. Thus, you can install our products and test its suitability for your purposes. The free plan automatically ends after the trial period.
THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THE PROGRAM, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. EXCEPT WHEN OTHERWISE STATED IN WRITING THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS AND/OR OTHER PARTIES PROVIDE THE PROGRAM “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE PROGRAM IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE PROGRAM PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION.
